Gender Equality: are we going backwards?

The 50/50 by 2030 Foundation at the University of Canberra will Seize the Moment of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in the nation’s capital next week. After the cancellation of the CSW Meeting in New York, you are warmly invited to join us in Canberra on 13 March and at the preceding evening’s cocktail function at the Ann Harding Centre to hear from some of Australia’s leading experts on the progress being made towards gender equality and how best to advance the CSW agenda.
Speakers include:
• Elizabeth Broderick – Former Australian Sex Discrimination Commissioner and Founder of the Male Champions of Change
• Kate Jenkins – Sex Discrimination Commissioner at the Australian Human Rights Commission
• Libby Lyons – Executive Director of the Workplace Gender Equality Agency
• Helen Dalley-Fisher – Program Manager of the Equal Rights Alliance
This event commences with a complimentary cocktail function on Thursday 12th March from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The conference begins on Friday 13 March from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
